Salaman is back at Cangrejeras

Cangrejeras de Santurce (BSNF) signed 26-year old Puerto Rican point guard Dayshalee Salaman (163-90, college: Lincoln Memorial). It is actually her comeback to Cangrejeras as she has played here before. Salaman played this summer at Lobas in Mexican LNBPF. She helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Salaman won Puerto Rican BSNF championship title in 2013. She was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSNF 2nd Team in 2014 and 2015.
Salaman represented Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) two years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: 3.3ppg.
Salaman has played previously for two other Puerto Rico teams: Leonas and Atenienses.
She attended Lincoln Memorial University until 2010 and it will be her seventh season as a professional player.
Salaman could be described: IM AN OFFENSVE ORIENTED GUARD THAT LIKES TO PLAY FULL COURT STYLE OFFENSE, I HAVE A QUICK FIRST STEP AND CAN READ DEFENSISES VERY WELL AND HAVE GOOD BALL CONTROL AND COURT VISION. I LEAD THE SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE DIV. II IN SCORING AND IN ASSIST. I WAS DAKTRONICS FIRST TEAM ALL SOUTHEAST REGION AND FIRST TEAM ALL SAC.
